Terms & Conditions of Booking

  1. Course Definitions

    A plastering course is defined as either a four day weekday course or weekend course running on consecutive weekends.

    A tiling course is defined as a five day weekday course or four day weekend course running on consecutive weekends.

  2. Bookings

    On receipt of a confirmed booking we guarantee you a place on the course specified, subject to availability. Confirmation of the place along with a receipt for the deposit and an invoice for the outstanding amount will be sent to you by return post.

  3. Payment Terms

    Payment of the full course fee can be made by cheque, payable to “2Plaster”, ten working days before the course start date, or by cash on the start date. If, for whatever reason, full payment of fees is not received, attendance on the course will not be permitted. The course fees are:

    • Four day weekday plastering course: £260
    • Four day weekend plastering course: £280
    • Five day weekday tiling course: £320
    • Four day weekend tiling course: £340

  4. Cancellations & Transfers

    Cancellations made before the start of the course will result in the loss of any deposit paid. Transfers made more than two weeks from the start of the course will be accepted without charge. Transfers made within two weeks of the start of the course may result in loss of any deposit paid.

    If, after starting the course, you decide to cancel or are unable to complete, your deposit cannot be refunded.

  5. Course Changes

    We reserve the right to change the format and specification of the course for the benefit of our customers without notice to the customer. We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any course and will advise our customers as soon as any change is known. We will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid changes of this nature. When this is unavoidable, we will transfer all monies paid by the customer to a re-scheduled course, at a date to suit the customer.

  6. Warranty & Liability

    The customer accepts that it is their responsibility to verify that the course is suitable for their requirements and that they have the necessary competence to achieve the objectives of the course.

    Our liability for loss or damage shall be limited to a claim for damages. The maximum aggregate liability will be the charges for the course out of which the loss or damage has arisen. We will not be liable for any loss or damage as a result of any negligence by any person attending the course as a student.

    We recommend attendees to wear appropriate protective clothing and safety footwear. We will not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss including loss of profit, howsoever arising, even if it has been advised of such potential loss.

  7. Copyright

    The copyright and all other intellectual property rights in the course shall remain our sole and exclusive property.

  8. Health and Safety

    Health and Safety equipment is provided and each student is advised to use these. We will accept no responsibility for any injury occurred whilst not following these safety guidelines. Each student attends the course at their own risk.
